This still may not be enough to adequately model the surfaces 'involved. The pattern is quite directional. Disable x-axis pattern symmetry 'to view the asymmetric pattern. Note that surfaces near the whip carry 'out-of-phase current that effectively cancels whip radiation. This greatly 'lowers radiation resistance and efficiency. It's much better to mount the whip 'higher up when mechanically feasible. Ground losses are not modeled. The 'capacity to ground of unmodeled vehicle surfaces is ignored.
